A two-week, hands-on programme that takes students from the fundamentals to supervised practical flying.

Curriculum

Airframes, motors, batteries, flight controllers, sensors and payloads, plus pre-flight checks and maintenance.
Risk assessment, weather and site checks, emergency procedures and responsible operation around people and property.
Simulator practice, then supervised manual and assisted flight drills in approved flying areas.
Planning flights, capturing aerial photo and video, and an introduction to mapping and inspection workflows.
A closing practical assessment and a team project that ties the two weeks together.
Format
Aviation basics, regulations, drone systems, safety and risk, and simulator practice. Mostly classroom, with equipment familiarisation.
Supervised flight drills, mission planning, aerial photo and video, introductory mapping and inspection, then the assessment and team project.
What's included
The completion certificate is issued by ByteHarvest Services. Any authorisation issued by an aviation authority is separate and subject to that authority's own requirements.

Any interested university student, across all disciplines. No prior drone experience is needed.
The programme runs for two weeks and costs AED 10,000 per participant.
On the host university's campus, subject to its approval of facilities and access. We request classroom space and, where permitted, space for practical training, plus secure storage for the equipment.
Yes, a completion certificate from ByteHarvest Services after the final assessment. Any licence or authorisation issued by an aviation authority is separate and follows that authority's rules.
