Who can join the programme?
Any interested university student, across all disciplines. No prior drone experience is needed.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
The programme runs for two weeks and costs AED 10,000 per participant.
Where is the training held?
On the host university's campus, subject to its approval of facilities and access. We request classroom space and, where permitted, space for practical training, plus secure storage for the equipment.
Do I need my own drone?
No. Training drones and associated equipment are provided and stored securely by ByteHarvest.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, a completion certificate from ByteHarvest Services after the final assessment. Any licence or authorisation issued by an aviation authority is separate and follows that authority's rules.
Is the training legal and approved?
ByteHarvest Services takes responsibility for the licences and permissions required for drone flying and training, including approvals from the relevant civil aviation authorities where required. Delivery depends on those approvals and on the host university's safety requirements.
What will the curriculum cover?
Aviation fundamentals, drone systems, safety and risk, hands-on flying, mission planning and data, and a final assessment and project. The exact curriculum is finalised with each university.
How do I enrol?

Can our university host the programme?

Still have a question?
Tell us your university and course, and we will reply with batch dates and next steps.
